Desmond Lau

Desmond Lau Chee Loong is a Singaporean armwrestler who competes in the u70kg weight class. He is a member of the Singapore Armwrestling team and has been training with them for several years. Desmond has competed in various armwrestling competitions, including the Singapore Armwrestling Nationals 2021, where he finished in second place in the men's u70kg right-hand finals. He also competed in a friendly super match against Goh Thian Weai from Malaysia in 2018. Desmond is one of the founding members of the Singapore Armwrestling club, which eventually became the Armwrestling association governing all armwrestling activities in Singapore. He has been instrumental in promoting the sport of armwrestling in Singapore and has been training and mentoring new armwrestlers in the country.
